So we should be over $ 20 by now then!

In my opinion, I think the stock will begin to take off in early 2022. This is my thinking:  Many new investors may have purchased shares for the first time in 2021 at prices much higher than now. As we look into the second half of the year and specifically Q4, we may see additional downward pressure from tax loss season from those who want a tax refund from their losses. Mind you ...more

I usually enjoy reading your posts but I just knew that if this stock didn't go up today on good news, you and a bunch of other people will come on here with your estimated timing of when it'll blow up. You just keep on predicting a further and further timeline everytime this stock gets good news and doesn't go the way we want it to. I used to fall for it and then get disappointed when ...more

Im not sure if it's me you are referring to but I've never been one to "pump" a stock by making unrealistic price targets. If you go back to my older posts from last year, I claimed we could hit $10 by years end when the price was probably half of that. Was that being unrealistic? Maybe, but I didn't think so. In that same post from last year I thought the price ...more

Why would you be mad about somebody coming to a stock board to discuss their opinion on where that company is heading after reviewing an earnings release? I'm pretty sure that's the goal of these message boards and Toronto is one of the biggest contributors of useful insight and info on here and we're not about to act like it's anything but that. You've been a share holder ...more

I'm not mad about that, I appreciate a lot of the posts here but when you keep posting about specific timelines and it ends up falling short, people start getting disappointed and lose hope. I know a lot of others invested in this stock who keep looking forward to the next milestone date and get disappointed when the stock price doesn't explode. I'm just saying, maybe instead of ...more

I get what you're saying, but I'm not sure the responsibility of other investors having self-control and rational thinking falls on other investors' shoulders? I don't see harm in someone taking a stab at speculating as to share price movement projections. IE: taking a stab at what someone thinks will be the bottom, or what price will be hit by the end of 2022 and stuff. Should be ...more

I highly doubt you've held this stock that long. Looks to me like you purchased much higher and you've become as emotional as Britney Spears.  Let me give you one other advice. Maybe it's not a good idea to have 90% of your portfolio on one company? Just a suggestion.  Good luck.

Hey Torontojay, I appreciate your posts as they are all easy to read, respectful and informative. If I don't agree with any portion of your posts (or anyone else's) I will respectfully question it or just put less weighting to it or disregard.  If I didn't think a posters content was something I wanted to read at all I can use the ignore button. TigerKing is way out of line to try ...more

Hey man, not sure why you've resorted to name calling. I really do enjoy your posts most of the time, I'm just calling you out on something I've noticed you do. Btw I really did buy this stock back then and the reason why it's 90% of my portfolio is because I bought it for pennies. Anyways, good luck to all.
Comment by yrunvs on Sep 05, 2021 8:30am
If you bought it for pennies 5 years ago, please tell me why you didn't sell this at $30 when it spiked? Having 90% of your portfolio then would make you a hero. Having 90% still in it makes me wonder why. I like your loyalty to AT by holding it still, I hope you are correct in that it gets back to $30

Hi Tigerking. Do you still plan on holding for another 5 years? Is Acuityads still 90% of your portfolio?

May not be under $3 much longer!

what's your point? I was asking you what would it take for YOU to sell.
Comment by retiredcf on Aug 10, 2021 11:41am
Nothing yet from TD but IMHO, I don't see anything here that would cause them to reduce their current $18.00 target. GLTA

When this stock was over $ 30 it had alot less good news than  this? This stock should be able to get back to $ 30 if it keeps growing like this. Also with all this cash, they should be acquiring something soon!
Comment by Prosilence on Aug 10, 2021 7:02pm
Yeah, likewise. I don't expect it to raise (a mild change one way or the other wouldn't shock me), but I don't expect it to drop, either. Was anyone else expecting the whole margins likely to decrease in the future thing? And on that note, I don't suppose anyone has insight as to why lower margins with self serve? I was hoping the opposite would be the case after the onboarding ...more

Hi Prosilence. In Q4 of this year Jonathan Pollack told investors that Illumin would have lower gross margins but much higher net margins. They won't need to spend as much on sales and marketing once they are on the platform. Also, general and administrative expenses are mainly fixed and their expenses will be under control with Illumin.  Only 5-10% of their expenses would be ...more
