Shopify is testing a new search engine similar to Amazon's where a buyer can search for a product and the search engine will bring up all sites selling that product, can this reduce the need of sellers to advertise in order to generate traffic to their sites? Just a morning thought

@Benoityaz. Thanks for eloquently elaborating on my post, lately I was wondering how come Shopify hasn't monetized advertising as an additional service to store merchant. Shopify SEO can help merchant with search engines ranking but most shoppers won't go past the first 10 search result end that where advertising (AT) can help unless the SEO which I don't know much about it can fulfill
