Well I am certainly no longer a puppy , but if I were , then Ipco would be a good bone to bury .
Why you may ask? Heavy crude is going the way of the Dodo . Not true !!
Great Armies of Environmentalists hate it yet there is a fatal flaw in their logic . The world needs energy and there will never be enough of any type to satisfy future demand. All energy will take on higher values as competing nations scramble to secure supplies. More-over if the Environmentalists insist on throwing the Carbon molecules in the trash bin, then even more energy will be required to run The Partial Ox operations needed to provide the hydrogen economy they so desire. For those not familiar, partial ox is the burning of coal or hydrocarbons in an oxygen poor environment. The product is CO and H2
The CO is kept in the ground and only the H2 is distributed. Good for the environment, but over half the energy stays in the ground
All in all a hydrogen economy will cost many times more than a hydrocarbon economy due to high processing storage and distribution costs.
Now I know I will get a lot of reaction from the Eco crowd but our progeny will thank us some day !!
