Bloomberg Daybreak: Asia... RF interview

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/videos/2021-11-16/-bloomberg-daybreak-asia-full-show-11-16-2021-video

The interview with Robert Friedman is approx. 10 minutes long... begins at ~1:17:30 and runs to 1:28.

Best to watch for yourself if interested, but here are a few points to note...

* Guidance will be set in January and will indicate that production will grow 3 - 4x present production.
* 2nd phase mine will be >400k MT
* 3rd phase mine will be in the range of 700k MT
* Plans to do 800k MT to become the
2nd largest copper producer in the world

* RF describes the Congo as the "Saudi Arabia of copper"
* Goldman Sachs reports copper to reach $12000/MT
* Copper inventories have declined for about 9 weeks in a row now

* Copper inventories are about as low as they have ever been

* 700m MT of copper used in the past 1000 years
* 700m MT of copper to be used in the next 20 years

Very interesting interview... have a look!

Remember that phase 1 and 2 will be putting out much more than name plate, maybe 10 to 20% more. IVN did mention that phase 3 was going to ...more

Mr. Friedland stated, in question form no less, who hasn't been inquiring about gaining investment exposure to the Western Foreland property? Mr ...more

He may not have been dancing but if you read his body language it sure said a lot. He has that smile that told me ......................... I've got what they all want and I am in the drivers seat. RF knows they all want a seat when the music stops and RF will be controling the seating arrangement. The big one for myself was RF basically teling us that phase 3 will be 50% larger in size than ...more
