Actually... the Conf Call didn't impress me

Nice production numbers, but....

Nothing about a Major Exchange Listing.
Nothing on WF drill results , on holes drilled early this year
Nothing about the possibility of Platreef being "spun"
Nothing about how credible WF partner stories are.

Most of the above, would have been asked in follow  up questions from Analysts...and there were none.

Friedland hyping a Vanadium battery( that he has an interest in) as an energy solution for Platreef

On the other hand, the numbers were enough to move the stock North of $10,
And the rest of the stuff I mentioned, is yet to come.

I thought the IVN management did a good job but the questions by the so called analysts were so basic you would have thought they had never heard of IVN. This board could have asked better questions. If they had read any of the updates from IVN you just would not have asked such basic questions. But the numbers were good and the direction and pace of all things are picking up speed. Looking ...more

Hello guarantor1. You have an issue with 'Nothing about a Major Exchange Listing' being asked by analysts. I agree. You spoke to WF exploratory drill results, fair enough. Although, you and I both know that WF essentially hosts duplicate geophisics, geochemistry/geology to that of the KK property; and BHP and every other major know this as well. Details of the Platreef financing, into ...more

I hope that particular comment wasn't lost to you.  Do you actually know anything with respect to the Vanadium Redox Battery storage technology Mr. Friedland spoke to as a entirely 'green' and sustainable initiative and fantastic solution to any potential power generation challenges faced in South Africa's Platreef. Batteries store power they do not generate it , South Africa ...more

Pardon me. Allow me to clarify. Although, before I do so, I will suggest the following. What you actually proved to me, by way of your feeble attempt to mock me  in regards to  my comments about 'power generation' capabilities at Platreef, is that you actually didn't listen to Mr. Friedland during the conference call. Hydro power generated electricity is not entirely how ...more

Good factual clarificarion 1student - the vanadium battery for longterm storage of energy will store from new green energy sources  (solar, wind etc) as you stated for times when there is no wind or sun. Also re Cobalt's statement that coal is still used as a primary energy source - what you can do is buy the energy from these sources (if required) when power is being sold cheaply (at ...more

OOF we shelling out for a solar plant now? "what you can do is buy the energy from these sources (if required) when power is being sold cheaply (at night) and store it for use during high energy pricing. Lowers production costs." On paper yes, this is South Africa we are talking about good luck on cheap night power they can not even keep the lights on rolling black-outs sortage of ...more

Clearly I disagree. It would seem you simply don't know your mouth from you a_s; i.e. you seem to be talking out of your anal orifice with respect to this particular topic. Clearly, you simply don't know or care to know about what is and is not possible, as pertains to the Platreef and South Africa cobalt. What are you new or something, lol.

Hello Charni. I thank you for your input. You stated, "Also re Cobalt's statement that coal is still used as a primary energy source - what you can do is buy the energy from these sources (if required) when power is being sold cheaply (at night) and store it for use during high energy pricing. Lowers production costs." RESPONSE: Yes! Yes and yes! You've clearly understood ...more

Much was said, between the lines, about WF. They are building infrastructure and ramping up drilling in 2022 for good reason; and until those results are complete, they are limited in what can be dislosed. RF has a way to foreshadow upcoming results. He also mentioned the significant interest in WF by potential partners. They can't disclose much more when the drilling isn't complete and ...more

When commenting on the Western Foreland property, Mr. Friedland straight out said, in the form of a question, who hasn't contacted us with respect to gaining exposure to the development of the Western Foreland property? It is clear what Mr. Friedland intended to convey for those actually listening and in particular the very analyst who posed the question regrding the Western Foreland property ...more

Pardon me. That would be chock-full; not chalk full. So as to state, " chock-full of details which until then had not previously been elaborated upon by Ivanhoe management.
