dips
I knew it would fall and rise. Lots of people knew. Every IVN dip has been followed by a rapid rise back to near the year high where it sits for a few weeks then dips. It has happened at least a dozen times. this is peculiar to IVN but the facts are there in the graphs. SMEGMA you are just too anal to acknowledge someone bested you.

Honestly I don't think my accountant understood the question ...or he thought I was pulling his leg and he ignored me .

half of my IVN is in my TFSA and RRSP. that the stocks I sell and buy. my main bag in my bank invedting account, I never touch

Yep You've made a profit , taxable in 2023. Your new shares have a taxable cost of what you have paid, or you add the cost to the cost of existing shares and divide by new number of shares to find the taxable cost.
