Prefeasibility March 2020: 18 Mtpa Ultimate Expansion

Page 263, 24-7 shows NPV(0) = $64.154 billion; NPV(8) = $16.164 billion.

Copper $4 lb.

IVN share at NPV0 = $64.154 billion x (0.396) = $25.4 billion.
IVN share at NPV8 = $16.164 billion x (0.396) = $6.4 billion.

Remember there are 1.2 billion plus shares outstanding, and Prefeasibility isn't as accurate as Feasibity. There is a huge difference between standard discounting at NPV8 and no discounting at NPV0. NPV8 is usually applied to a stable business like a Tim Horton's, not a mine in the DRC. Regardless, $100 a share isn't in the cards by any logical measure except possibly an overly exuberant stock market.

No one knows what tomorrow may bring. This is the picture today, but copper could go to 5 or 6 dollars lb. Who knows? Plus the Company has two other outstanding projects. Things look good. Maybe not $100/share, but still impressive, with the possibility of further gains, and competent management that never gives up. Good luck guys.

Because although we have been producing over nameplate, ithe overproduction is still being optimized.  We are adding a smelter which will reduce costs and produce another byproduct to sell.  Since 2020 there have been two more years of drilling out ...more

Totally agree, we are in 2023 and as you say, so much has changed for the better. There are only a few nervous nellies looking back but the rest of us are looking forward. RF is correct when he talks about NVP being ZERO with teir 1 miners. That is really what he is gripping about, tier 1 mines need a NVP of ZERO. From his interview I would say that something good is cooking with WF. Really.really ...more
