Gold

Gold has disconnected from the yields. Probably a good place to hide for now. Some of the gold stocks haven't reacted yet to the increase in the gold price but they will sooner or later. For example, agnico should be in the 80s but it's just starting to move

Gold is 89% correlated to the 10 year real rate so i dont think so look at this gap (chart) it needs to drop unless things are "different this time". Only thing working for now is front running the American Bitcoin etfs 1 month Bitcoin +30%

Gold just started deviating in the last month or so.  Some are attributing this to China selling bonds and buying gold. Given the rates, gold should be trading below $1700. It's a better risk than copper right now.

Cobalt, as a former gold trader what do you think of Mr Armstrong and his Socrates predictions and analysis these days?
Comment by Cobalt on Oct 25, 2023 9:43pm
I lost interest in him a decade ago like so many i followed back then for not seeing the top. Maybe he was too early calling the future been there, I should revisit his works thanks.
