WE have potential for IVN to close over $20 today by the looks of things.. didn't think it would run to that $20.08 so fast but it did.. :-)

Long time accumlation. Probably the Chinese in good part. Insiders are going to take IVN private. Cannot leave the immense in ground asset value exposed to public scrutiny. Take out offer coming.

If BHP can't close the deal with Ango American for the takeover.. where does that position IVN as being a candidate for a hostile takeover.. I'd think pretty compelling..?? Now what could the price be..???

BHP was offering a 14% premium for Anglo.. so at $20+ a $23 offer could be a good basis to start with IMO..

No takeover possible unless its the Chinese buying because they won't sell....they want the copper. Chinese are miles ahead of the western world in securing resources. They were locking up tier 1 assets all over the world decades ago...

Ya Chinese wont sell I bet that is what keeps us from being the best performing copper, no take over premium in the stock like others.

BSdetector2016, Those ding-dongs who you allude to are simply pulling some very quickly generated ROI off the table. Nobody ever went broke pulling profits off the table. Long and Strong Ivanhoe Mines Limited Onward and Upward IVANHOE!
