It's unfortunate that US politics have a significant influence on the market. My hope is for a continuation of the current administration, as it has been beneficial for capitalizing on movements such as the green initiative, particularly in the copper market. As for conservative politics, it's less clear, although yachts could be a potential focus, water wold.

Cobalt is right. Trump mocks renewable energy, EVs, an other "green" initiatives, wants to eliminate subsidies / quotas / special incentives re. renewable energy / car companies / consumers interested in purchasing EVs, etc. while promoting a "Drill Baby Drill" position on oil. If you're invested in copper companies, a Trump Presidency may cause your shares to drop ...more
