Dems fake numbers

100% of Dems economic numbers are fake. The US economy is in recession. poor economy means loss of business means no buying copper. US debt will finish America off.

Betting against the US has generally been a bad bet.  Certain news channels and one clown would try to convince you the country is a disaster.  We are still far and away the most powerful and influential country on the planet and we will remain that way for years to come. Agreed. Peter Lynch once said " Far more money has been lost by investors in waiting for corrections, then has been lost in the corrections themselves".  I think you need to maintain liquidity and not be leveraged to the hilt, but look at all the "brilliant" people that have been sitting on the sidelines the last year or two waiting for a market correction....missed one ...more

cash i dont sell calls because i dont want to risk having my ivn called away , what i do is sell naked puts when ever ivn dips , and it has been over a year now i have not had 1 share put too me , and the premium from selling the puts is what i use to keep buying more ivn .

Gisellekronk: Agree, there is a call away risk, but in reality, I have shorted calls against my position for years and only been tested once where I had to roll up and out.  I generally short pretty far about of the money ( .25-.30 deltas ) 12-18 months out.  I don't do it necessarily for income, but as a hedge given I have a very oversized position relative to my other stuff.  ...more

Gisellekronk I don't have an exit price.  Its a pretty dynamic company.  Just so much going on and I'm a believer in the long term copper narrative.  I generally don't buy and hold cyclical stocks long term because such a strategy rarely plays out given their volatility through cycles.  Saying that, because I hedge with options and given the extreme growth ( and ...more
