"Global temperatures really started taking off in the 1980's. "   Well put. other interesting questions remain like, when did society recognize the reality of climate change?  Or that the human race could indeed have an effect upon the climate.  Some still insist that it is a hoax. However, the rapid intensification of Helene over the warmer waters in the gulf, ain’t ...more

"graph of earth's temperature over centuries. " Yes, the article you cited does in fact have a graph, but there are also several paragraphs written that explain what you are seeing that I don’t believe you bothered to read. “The timeline illustrates how swift and dramatic temperature shifts were associated with many of the world’s worst moments — including a mass ...more

if climate change was man made you wouldn't be constantly  fudging data and outright lying about it https://wattsupwiththat.com/2024/04/12/hidden-behind-climate-policies-data-from-nonexistent-temperature-stations/

"if climate change was man made you wouldn't be constantly  fudging data and outright lying about it" Try to understand I am not presenting, nor "fudging" data and I resent your insinuation that I am consciously making false statements (lying).  First of all, you do not appear to have sufficient background to make judgement on the findings of science.  ...more

Seems you read the article like a certain someone reads the bible. Yes, the climate has been changing since forever, but the point is that it is now changing rapidly due to man made emissions. Our whole society is based on the historically mild temperatures of the last thousands of years. As the earth warms due to our CO2 emissions we face enormous risks including rapidly rising oceans, unlivable ...more

climate change a naturally occuring event started the day the earth was born. climate change is not man made science fact...centuries old core samples taken from Arctic ice show temperature rising before carbon levels rose. carbon in the atmosphere does not cause temps to rise science fact...the sun is the number one driver of climate change

"climate change a naturally occuring event std rted the day the earth was born. (sic)" You see!  That's the problem.   That is a very bold statement for which I can find no basis in the scientific literature!   So the debate seems to be between the scientistic community that has studied the question and political hacks who have alternative motives beyond ...more
