Q

Now that the job of DEA head has opened up, not sure how Trump can pass over the Q Anon Shaman. He actually would've been the perfect DNI for the Trumpy nightmare clown show but Trump rose to the occasion and was able to find someone worse. At minimum Shaman as Ambassador to China, to "shake things up" and keep the Chinese on their toes, headgear and all. He's the perfect representative to the world of what the USA has become and Trump with his amazing instincts surely knows this and will find a way to get him on strength. Go MAGA.

What if any of the advantages offered by cryptocurrency are a direct competitor to gold?  The movement of huge sums of money by extremely wealthy few?  I can’t buy groceries or gas with a bitcoin any better than a ATM card. So, we need to understand who is buying crypto coins.  Speculators!!! They are not goldbugs who see gold as securing wealth and protecting capital, but rather ...more

It's understandable that 80-year-olds may not grasp it, but $85 trillion is to be passed down to a generation who does. When you pass your money down, no doubt they will sell your boomer gold for BTC too. ;) The greatest wealth transfer in history

"It's understandable that 80-year-olds may not grasp it ..."   That's good because I don’t really know what a crypto coin is.  I know what they are called.  They all have names.  People buy, and I assume, sell these ideas, but as far a practical everyday monetary exchange it seems to do nothing better than present monetary systems, except to hide or mask ...more

Part of the problem in old guys not “grasping” the crypto concept, might be the result of having seen this game played out before.  Been through (monitoring it daily as I was trading at the time) the Dot Com bust, the housing collapse of 2006, and more recently the commodity bust a few years ago.  Strange that those older guys who have so much more experience and knowledge are considered ...more

Well said Dragonfly.  While some have become quite wealthy holding or trading Bitcoin at some point the bubble is near certain to pop and for every big winner there will plenty of losers.  Could it go to a million, two million before it pops?  Maybe, there are reports that a single tulip bulp sold for as much as ten time the average Dutch farmers pay during tulip mania in 1636 ...more

First, as usual you post previously debunked conspiracy theories in support for your jaundiced and partisan opinion of the Biden Administration.  Followed by a despicable strawman smear and ending with a totally false mischaracterization of the issue.   Bottom line of the Cloward–Piven strategy suggested nearly 60 years ago was NOT as you post, “Implement Socialism and Communism through ...more

"How do you like Mr Hegseth and Ms Ernst? Ms Ernst's sidekick Linsey Graham?"   Like?  You're asking about feelings?  You don’t understand that unlike yourself I have no emotional attachment to or against any political issue or politician.  With me it’s a matter of principle and consequence.  I AM NOT THE BRAINWASHED WORDSHIPER OF A CRIMINAL CULT!!!
Comment by Arminius on Dec 07, 2024 10:31pm
Your evaluation of Hegseth based on your experience in the Armed Forces. Not asking for your feelings. You seem to be implying that I'm a brainwashed follower of MAGA/Trump. Not at all. Cenk Uygur is a leftwinger who now realizes that maga isn't a cult. Check him out P.S.  A cowardly leftwinger is reporting most of my posts, so this won't be up for long

"Your evaluation of Hegseth based on your experience in the Armed Forces."   Oh, okay, as a two tour Vietnam vet, I do not think his military service record indicates any significant experience that would enable one to head up the Pentagon, in fact he is no more qualified to lead our military than millions of other former servicemen and women.    BTW – I read “When it ...more

I said nothing that his mother hasn’t put down in writing.  Fortunately for Pete he was able to throw his mother under the bus by making her admit on national TV that she wrote to  him -   "You are an abuser of women — that is the ugly truth and I have no respect for any man that belittles, lies, cheats, sleeps around, and uses women for his own power and ego.  You are ...more

Looks like anonymous sources won't be enough to sink Hegseth's ship. Will someone come forward and lie about him as was done to Kavanaugh. We shall see. Funny how these lowlife dishonest smears only happen to conservatives

“... at least one of the anonymous people featured in reporting about Hegseth isn’t anonymous to Hegseth: The Jane Doe who has accused him of rape and with whom he signed an agreement. Not all of the revelations against Hegseth are anonymously sourced, either. As The New York Times reported last month, Hegseth’s mother in 2018 called her son “an abuser of women,” whose “abuse over ...more

Trump hired a team to plan the withdrawal from Afghanistan. Then Biden took office and was told Trump hired them. So Joe fired all of them. The Democrats had demonized Trump to the point where they started to believe their own propaganda. THE RESULT WAS A BIDEN/HARRIS DISASTER WITHDRAWAL
