Waterton now owns 10% of Klondex

Said they are acquiring for investment purposes. At least someone is buying. News release below:

very interesting.....a gold stock that is beaten up this much is an easy takeover target....

That is a concern for sure. However, their large shareholders have much higher ACB's with the exception of Waterton, so unless Waterton ups the ante and buys more shares, they will have a hard time putting this into play at these price levels.

In this fairy tale turned bad some of us are prone to magical thinking: Waterton will rescue the damsel in distress (Mr Huet) from the dragon (annual shareholder meeting). The fact is someone with a very large stake decided it was better sell than hold.  Waterton a place in line so the shares would not be dumped in one or two trading sessions tanking the share price.  Of course, in order ...more

Have no idea what you are rambling on about but I thought you might like to know that Waterton acquired the 5M warrants when it sold the Hollister assets to Klondex in 2016.
