Waterton II

Waterton continues to increase its holdings in Klondex. They purchased 3,143,123 shares of Klondex last Friday, March 2nd. The stock was purchased at an average price of US$1.37 per share, with a total value of US$4,306,078.5. Today, Waterton acquired 19,500 shares at an average cost of C$1.77 per share, with a total value of C$34,515.00.

I suspect they will continue to add to their holdings and would not be surprised to see them through 10% (ex Warrants) and move a lot higher.

The market cap of KLDX is $253m today. Waterton received $80m cash from KLDX in 2016. in consideration for Hollister. With that $80m cash received from KLDX's 2016 shareholders, Waterton could purchase 30% of KLDX today and still have cash to spare. Therefore, there seems to be plenty of scope for Waterton to obtain an effective controlling stake in KLDX, thanks to Huet's generousite in ...more
