Just an analysis from a ''non'' analyst!

From your overall holding ,not sure if you like your investement this year but I'm sure the pendulum ;will reverse sometime in the Q3/ 2023
Of course Yield  is great but bottom line holding is suffering  but sure you are going to revover in a year from now  because your investment model is a classic model for sound investors
My only question with your invesment style:
Why not put some powder in some  GIC where you have almost 5,0 %.
Of course you lock your investment  but a 3 years ladder investement would not be a bad idea.

Hey Bossu I'm not sure if this is directed at me but I'll answer anyway. I'd like the portfolio to grow the most it can but I definitely am not going to sweat it as the only difference that makes is how big the inheritance is going to be. My wife & I spend everything we want but we really do have a very simple lifestyle eg: we would rather spend 3 weeks camping and hiking in the ...more

Fur sure the  post was  for you and of course to all the SH followers... You are a real and truthfull investor giving some very good view on the art of investing that could be helpfull to many investors  looking for ''yield'' Just to say that 70 % or so of investors d'ont have a Company Retiremnt  Fund and have to take care of their own futur revenue, I ...more

Hey Bossu Thanks for the kind words. I totally agree that everyone should have their own investing strategy. I think part of the problem is that many people don't  have a strategy at all and then are subject to knee-jerk/emotional reactions.
