Humpty Dumpty
I just awoke from a very bad dream.
I dreamt [the Anglo-Saxon form of the verb] that my wristwatch fell off and came apart.
All of the little wheels and springs rolled across the floor.
It was like Humpty Dumpty.
-
I put on my second wristwatch.
The same thing happened.
-
A was very alarmed, because there was no way for me to know what time it was.
-
I woke up.
-
Earlier today, Tuesday, I went for X-rays.
-
-
For about three weeks, I have been urinating blood, it looks like wine.
How could I ignore this?
Well, actually, I have a history of kidney stones.
Last year, my urologic surgeon said that my X-ray looks like I have been shot with a shot gun.
So a very little stone sometimes works its way, and my urine will look like wine, but it soon stops.
-
Actually, I look upon these micro events a kind of blessing, as no pain is involved.
I have had no pain or aches.
-
Tomorrow, I will get an appointment with the urology department.
-
My alarm is that this has unprecedentedly [my, that a big word] went on for weeks.
My alarm is that many acquaintances and friends have died of prostrate cancer.
-
Hopefully, this is not what has happened.
-
Did that dream imply that this may be the end of the road for RJ?
Let’s hope not.
-
But this brings up other problems.
I just assumed, like my hero, Scrooge McDuck, I would live to be one hundred-years-old.
So I just put off some things.
Like, what should I do, with my, at least million-dollar, estate?
-
Ok. We take care of my girl companion.
But what happens after that?
-
Being basically a war orphan, I have no living relatives.
At least none, who have thought enough of me to call in this century.
-
So it gets complicated.
I do have a trust, and the lawyer asked me who should be the ultimate beneficiary.
I though for about thirty seconds, something had to be put on the blank line, and said the local county council of the Boy Scouts of America.
-
Now, hopefully, this is different from the national council, which is being sued and has claimed bankruptcy.
-
Anyway, as a war orphan kid, the Boy Scouts was one of the best sources of joy I had.
I am, and always will be, a Boy Scout [ I did make it to Star ], it is my religion:
Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent.
-
I am a bit of a heretic, I not too sure about ‘Obedient’.
-
-
This is not totally satisfying to me, will these guys will just spend it on cigars and booze?
If they spent it on equipment like sleeping bags and stuff that would be nice.
If a Boy Scout Troop should have something like a school bus, it would change its whole character.
-
-
As I said, this is what I cane up within 30-seconds.
-
-
Any suggestions as to better purposes for my estate?
What about some Tesla Research organization?
-
Thank you
