M1 and M2 reporting changed from weekly to monthly.

There's a good interview on Kitco with Steve Hanke, discussing the fact that the FED just changed their reporting of M1 & M2, from weekly to monthly.

I would highly recommend it. I have found that David Lin hosts some very substantive interviews.

Long term, I have concerns of the USA's financial outlook, currency, inflation, interest rates, money supply. That is the only reason I am buying gold miners and keeping a core position on some.

I think that, in the longterm, investments here will really pay off. I say that with some regret considering the basis of that belief vis-a-vis the NA economy.

The Fed Reserve is beginning to turn into a big controlling agency and trying to suggest to the public that inflation is under control.  ...more

Well articulated Welchspring, It appears that we are heading into a chaotic situation.  Current inflation on items that don't register in official inflation measurements. A very slow but aggressive steady move forward by China on a 100 year plan. The removal of the US dollar as world currency, putting it on a precipice. The latent strength of USA which may run on momentum for years ...more
