Synergy saving in the combination...

In the yeaterday's interview Sean Boy was mentioning:
«Drives fundamental value creation from significant unique synergies estimated at $800-million over five years and $2-billion over 10 years (pretax)»Do you beleive an average saving of $ 160 M per year and $ 2 -0 billion  over 10 year.
Not certain, but the big difference will be in the gold price in the coming years.
The combination to be stronger in a weak gold environnement 
and a'' home run'' if the gold price reach back $ 2000 /oz or higher.

The usual BS when people gush about mergers. Yes there will be savings but we won't see them for years and who knows where gold will be then. Costs will increase short-term as well as HR gets busy handing out packages. Maybe they'll chop and monetise a few higher cost mines along the way. Kirkland had the horsepower to grow by itself.
