any KL shareholders feel ill used by Management?

Newcrest Mining (ASX, TSX: NCM) announced today that it has entered into an agreement to acquire all of the issued and outstanding common shares of Pretium Resources (TSX, NYSE: PVG) that it does not already own by way of a Canadian Plan of Arrangement.

The company said that under the transaction, Pretivm shareholders will receive consideration of C$18.50 per share, which represents a 22.5% premium to Pretivm’s last closing price and a 24.2% premium to Pretivm’s 10 day VWAP on the Toronto Stock Exchange as of 8 November 2021.

1% premium vs 22.5 %  ? nahh!

Google today's IKN blog to read about the failed KL Newcrest negotiations. Nah we didn't want a quick 22 percent premium.

We can still vote no.  I'm surprised that Newcrest hasn't went hostile and let shareholders decide rather than management.

KL is the 5th biggest investment of the Sprott Gold Miners ETF after Newmont, Franco-Nevada, Barrick, WPM.   I invest in KL for having a return of 200 a 400% in the next 5 year.   The new AEM will give me this return.   So you would sell KL for a 15 % premium to an Australian company.  Hahahahaha.   You love KL because Macassa is in your City.  And now you want ...more

2 answers.Graaspriet. Answer one yes I would take the 22 percent premium and thenbuy  Agnico shares.  Answer 2 I was talking about Eric Sprott's personal family holdings not an ETF. You and Bucky can dance around this deal as long as you want shareholders know they got stiffed.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahav But then you have AEM without KL!!!!!! Yes no doubt.  You are st...... I know Eric Sprott was a big fan of the Detour Acquisition.   Maybe he sold a little bit to diversify more to the juniors.  There is a higher leverage but also a higher risk.    But he can afford that risk   And he also could step in at a much lower price compared to ...more
