I will be voting NO,

when I get my proxies, no mail yet.
but looking at how KL is being dragged down by AEM's higher AISC costs, it is no wonder.
KL is best in class with lowest costs and highest grades in safe jurisdictions, even ABX  as well as NEM are doing better than KL after this rushed merger of purported EQUALS!
See couple proxy firms are recommending acceptance, of course they are, they get paid for their recommendation.
And the BOD's also get their legal opinion letter as a cover, also paid for.

As others mention, KL appeared to be dragging the AEM anchor around again today.

In regards to the "Fairness" opinions, I'm always amazed that the firms providing these opinions don't have to back them up with any analysis.

I held my nose and voted YES.  I did not think I would be doing so when the deal was first announced, and I still do not believe KL shareholders are receiving fair value, however the new Agnico will be a stellar company, with a compelling story.  The way I look at it, this lowers the ceiling of my KL investment somewhat, but it also significantly increases the floor price as well.   ...more

no matter how this is spun, the facts are that KL shareholders get diluted, KL is trading above the 200 day average even the 60 day average,  AEM is still in a downtrend and is still trading below the 200 day average, even with the merger announcement.  This may just slow the downtrend of AEM to the detrement of KL shareholders. Not sure why anyone would hold their nose and vote against ...more

Got my proxy on Friday and voted NO right away.  Offer is too low.  KL is a better company/stock than AEM.

No matter how much sugar you want to put over AEM I still don't care for the merger.
Comment by Foshay61 on Nov 23, 2021 11:00am
Change my mind this morning, and switched vote to "NO"!  They are spinning a convincing arguement, but the fact is that KL's low cost, efficient, cash cow operations are getting diluted by AEM's marginal mines.  AEM needs KL way more than KL needs AEM.  Heck, KL doesn't even need this merger at all!  Bottom line - if AEM wants KL, they should pay a better ...more

I agree with you Bucky!!! Tony is smart Sean is smarter and Tony is being  smart for HIMSELF not his shareholders. By the way how does someone who doesn't have shares in KL or Wallbridge spend all his time 24/7 on their boards?

I did once and apparently it worked. I don't want to break my record, you see I'm actually a stockholder. I'm not getting paid by someone to post for them. Keep up the bad work for the sleazy people.
