As I mentioned

PNG would be wise to maintain relationships with a variety of countries.  The reason is China.  These guys don't do nice.  If you've got a bunch of Chinese companies controlling things in PNG, then China controls PNG.

The Chinese who live and work in Africa refer to those countries as, "the colonies."  Just sayin'

Yes you and others keep telling us how well versed you are on all things Chinese and repeating the usual bigotry.... If you have something useful than say it. You were asked why you are interested in KNT. In fact you asked and I replied. I am still waiting for your reply. You bug*ered off and now since the tide has changed you are back with fascile comments.  Where's  the beef DT ...more

Well said. Deep think hasn't said anything I'm not already well aware of.

I don't care about being wrong or right.  I think the reason for the abrupt slide is partly the price of gold, partly overvaluation, and partly the jurisdiction.  There's one other risk, which is the growing naval power of China in SE Asia.  I think there will come a point where the US presence is more pretend than real.  As China pumps out ships, carriers, and a new ...more

100% agree deepthinker63...with Biden at the helm I look for Red China to quickly and rapidly make their military moves...Hong Kong and India were just tests and Red China won on both tests with NO resistance....I fear for the brave, freedom loving people of Taiwan...no doubt Red China has its eyes on mineral rich PNG and other island nations...my wife is from Jakarta, Indonesia...and I really ...more

Agree.  Taiwan is all but gone.  The US cannot and will not defend it.  China doesn't need to invade countries.  It just needs to control the sea and sea lanes unopposed.  This is the British naval model as applied to SE Asia.  I expect countries to begin to "accommodate" China, meaning do what China wants them to do. I think the ultimate targets are ...more

on some futuristic maps Australia is called 'Little China'...with the surrounding islands being converted to naval bases that is not out of the question...not sure about Hawaii...too many good golf courses there to give up without a fight... I wish I own some GT Gold...NEM bought em out...up 60%...nice premium

I find it odd that people focus so much in technical details and completely ignore politics and geopolitics.  Those are necessary, not sufficient, conditions.
Comment by ErinBrockovich on Mar 10, 2021 8:03pm
Your insights are amateur. Ignore for both of you.
Comment by robertwfb on Mar 10, 2021 2:26pm
I think the ultimate targets are Australia and, yes, Hawaii. A Chinese attempt to occupy Hawaii isn't out of the question in the next decade LOL, So stupid!

good grief !  Sounds like he espaced from the insane asylum.  His scenario must come straight out of Q-Anon 2.0 .  Does this attack happen before the Plutonians and the Martians invade?
Comment by deepthinker63 on Mar 10, 2021 5:00pm
An Asian power never attacked Hawaii before, so it's impossible.  The US is rotating its carrier battle groups in an out of Guam and other ports to mitigate risk.  Right now.  I can tell you for a fact that they're worried about Hawaii.
Comment by bp4elk on Mar 12, 2021 6:39pm
Just in case you forgot, Japn attacked Hawai'i on December 7, 1941. That act led to a world war.
Comment by robertwfb on Mar 12, 2021 8:33pm
China is not going to attack the US, at least any time soon. If you want to worry about China attacking some one you should look towards Tiawan.

bp4elk......WWII started in fall of 1939 when Nazi Germany, officially known as the German Reich invaded Poland in fall of 1939. Why not opening a proper history book instead of getting facts from a movie. China is NOT going to start a war with anybody…..but they will continue with their economic colonialism until they implode. All communist systems do since it is an evolutionary dead end. There was  war raging in Europe, a European war, that did not become a world war until December 7, 1941. This board is not for Q'ers or other conspirancy individuals. This board is about K 9 2 mining. China is on an expension path but will not attack Hawai'i as you suggested.

No offence. But this is also nothing new. The geopolitical risk from outside players on PNG is something we are well aware of. China is a growing world power. And is expected to replace the United States as the most dominant nation on earth. Perhaps you two should go some place and discuss this. Please not here. It's a wasted effort. Seems the covert intent is to persuade us all that the risks ...more

The notion of China invading anyone is just silly; for one they are too busy beating up Tibetans and the Uighurs as well as sorting up issues in Hong Kong. Plus even though they are corrupt communists …..they are not suicidal. Invasion like that would spell a major PR disaster for them; so I’m sure KNT & PNG is safe. What is of concern is those islands they are building in S. China sea. By ...more

The entire Biden group are corrupted and compromised by China.  Remember Hunter and "The Big Guy."  Harris' big financial backer is a CCP supporting communist.

Um. This is not new or particularly insightful. Sorry, but you are sounding more and more like a busted record on a turntable.
