I very much agree, with the inflation uptick not the hyper inflation.  The shear size of stimulus will eventually bring inflation numbers that the FED can not hold down.The original stimulus shortly after covid hit was 1.8 trillion and I think that gave US citizens $1000 stimulus cheques.  Then before Trump got booted out of office (thank goodness) he otherized another 900 million.

Agree to all of your points; however at least in theory …‘printing’ money allows government to pay for projects that will aid in higher productivity (infrastructure, health, education & social programs). A ‘healthy & creative society’ will build wealth. I’m not American but firmly believe in that empire & even though it went through 4 years of degradation under Pumpkin man It will

Cyber 37, You made a good point.  We have a government because it is an efficient way to make sure that society functions for the better of all. Anarchy ( and also extremetly right wing views that all taxes are bad) ignore your important point about the role of government.  For things that everyone must have: good roads, law enforcement, education or in the Canadian and British case
