Press release??

Don't want to belabor the point and thank you Bjorn for the PNG National newspaper update. Some of this information (production update/supply issues, tribal fighting/office closure/employee safety etc are material to shareholders/investors and should have been released via a press release. Not sure why we have to read the PNG newspaper to get this information.

The suply issue are old news. And John mentioned that in the conference call. And the q1 report. But be said nothing about the tribal fight. 20 people were killed in that. Maby he dident say anything about it because there are always tribalfights in png. And the k92 Office isnt on site near the mine. Its an Office in kainantu Town that was wreckt when some people destroyed many buildings in the ...more

Beg to differ Bjorn, follow this stock closely and the production updates were new to me, the tribal land wars or ROYALTY rights issues were also new to me etc.This is all important/material  INFORMATION for ALL shareholders/investors to make informative investing decisions and should have been released in a more timely fashion and for all the public to read.What, information for PNG ONLY ...more

Yes it was in april the tribals got Into a fight about the area were the central Town is located. My guess is that the Company diden't get affected of it when the mine not placed in the central Town. so thats why we got no press release. I don't Think other Company says everything that happens in the country or Town they operate in either. But it would be nice if we got more press releases ...more

A copy of Johns words about it in the png newspaper "Lewins also noted that the company reopened its office in Kainantu which was broken into earlier this year due to a tribal fight. While this had nothing to do with K92, we closed our offices in Kainantu (as many businesses did) during the period of fighting to ensure the safety of our personnel, he said. Bjorn, I should not have made a comment about you being the first to post and I apoligize but I do not feel like I should have to read to png newspapers for updates on KNT (prudent on your part). I am not an expert on what is required for a company to have to update the public (the company I worked for often sought legal advice if they were not sure. No need to apology. As i Said before. They mentioned that lack of drill results in the conference call. All because fly in fly out was stopped due to covid. John said that it could take some month to be back on track with everything . But now when people from other countrys can enter png drill results schould be near
