cash position -- pretty impressive

KNT had ~C$145 million in cash at the end of Q3 - by the end of Q4  it will probably be C$165-175M  -  and no debt --- that's pretty impressive.

If they come even close to achieving their production objectives in 2023 they will litterly be awash in cash by the end of 2023

At the curent share price it  has to be getting a bit of attention from potential financial bottomfeeders and carpet baggers.

Impressive? ….yes if KNT was a bank; but this is mining outfit so money they make should be for expansion, growth, acquisitions or pay dividends.  They went to market to issue more shares in June to get even more money at the expanse of existing shareholders (share dilution) …..with a very generic reasons too. John Lewins must be more specific why he is piling-up mountains of cash while share ...more

Up 9%, share price declining?   Huh?  And building a sizeable cash balance while interest rates are soaring is bad?  Seems awful prudent to me.  At some point they will be ready to do something with all that gold they are finding, and that will take cash.  Not having to go to the banks to ask for it seems like a pretty good idea.

GLAD to see some healthy up day but..... While 9% ‘up event’ over one or two days is impressive one needs to take into account 40% decline from April to end of October 2022. Also; long term ZERO increase over 2 years (Sep. 2020 –Sep. 2022). Yes I‘m aware of covit, supply chain issues or horrible war in Ukraine but PNG was ‘relatively’ isolated from it - still all those were major factors ...more

Yur too focussed on the short term-- production is a fuction of many things at a one point in time --- their target is 300,000 oz and they will likely achieve it over the next year --or so -- Far better to look at  the cash position in the short term vs. production rate in a single quarter  The AU price is creeping up -- which means even more cash in the 4th Q  THIS STOCK IS ...more

KNT is overpriced if you evaluate this company based on present production…..BUT since I got in before the meteoric rise (~2 years ago) in share price I consider myself lucky. I still believe they will deliver however I’m less & less confident in their schedule & would like to see some tangible progress. What I see is pilling cash and rather ‘non-specific’ plan of action. Both production ...more

this cyber guy is crazy. ON ANOTHER NOTE, run by the same mgmt team AS k-9, you all should also look at ZACATECAS SILVER. I ASSUME MANY ARE FAMILIAR.. ZCTSF. GOOD LUCK.

Perhaps in your world of k-9 (dog handlers) the management could be the same as one that runs K92 Mining (KNT) but in real world this is not the case. The point I was trying to make is that J. Lewins as capable as he is in managing KNT ‘sold out’ to proxy advisors and issued more shares at the expanse of long time shareholders. It will take 'years' for KNT to recover to $10/share …..unless ...more

I will eat my crow now…..still wish that the financing in June was communicated better & now I see it was all part of this nice BIG plan. G37

The answer is pretty simple -- KNT  BoD want to sell the company - a large cash hoard makes it very attractive to potential buyers
