Still appears to be interest in these lawsuits
A shareholder confronted me at a grocery store in town last night asking why the bleep these lawsuits are taking so long as her husband was keenly interested in reading the transcripts from the questioning of the directors, executives and what exactly went on prior to the 2017 and 2018 AGM’s.
Unfortunately, anyone who has gone through the court process knows it is a very slow-moving train, as the courts are bogged down with thousands of frivolous cases.
I do not know the stage of the majority of lawsuits, but I can tell you one is currently in the information sharing stage called Affidavit of Records. By the end of August that will have concluded, and the most important part of the process in my opinion will begin in September where past Karnalyte directors and executives will be questioned on court record under oath.
Anyone who has gone through questioning knows it can be a very brutal day or two, as very sharp lawyers grill you for hours and hours in an attempt to poke holes in your story and confuse you on the record.
Those pleadings are then transcribed and are available to the public through the courts, in which I expect will likely be sometime in the late fall.
It will be interesting as the following statement made by Karnalyte on May 25, 2018 will certainly be tested.
“Documented facts, not idle conjecture
This is not a case of the current Board of Directors casting stones. All of the transgressions of Mr. Brown and Mr. Phinney are well documented in Karnalyte’s corporate records, and any shareholder who wishes to review the comprehensive evidence is welcome to contact us in order to do so.”
For those shareholders interested, the company has expressly invited you to contact them for a copy of documented facts but I can only assume those facts may differ from other shareholders facts.
That is what questioning under oath is for, and I look forward to seeing those sworn facts in the hands the owners of this corporation – the shareholders. It has taken years, but the truth will soon be known!
Stay tuned!

Dan, if you can share the court location that needs to be referenced to do a court record search once the relevant docs you mention are available, it'd be appreciated (court of queen's bench mentions for public search you need party name AND court location).
