the U.S.  RECALL PLEASE, they are conducting clinical trials, paying the bill for them, in the U.S. with export permits issued to LABS by the DEA.    This is from 2020, published research on the NIH website.   Need I say more as to why Pfizer is their 'traditional global pharmaceutical partner'?  Pfizer is no stranger to this new class of drugs..Pfizer was conducting cannabis research legally at their facitlity in Israel back in the 1980's because Mechoulam's work dates back to the 1960's!!!

How did Israel become a hub for medical cannabis research?
Israel's dominance in the medical cannabis sector can be traced back to the early 1960s and the work of Professor Raphael Mechoulam, an Israeli chemist. Mechoulam is credited with "opening the field of cannabis science" after he helped identify "the structure and function of the key compounds of cannabis," The New York Times wrote.
