Materially Debt Free PR

In the PR they state having more than $13M in cash on balance sheet ... based on Q2 results, approx $3M in cash burn QoQ .. Q3 revenue flat or declining? While nice being debt free, this is not the PR we needed and I don't think it's material to the business.

cash burn since Q4 2023 3.6mill with 2.1 mill debt repayment  (Q1 started with 18mill in bank looks like they are cah flow positive to me  18mill-5.7 mill is 12.3 mill  and they say they have more than 13 mill in the bank now is my math wrong???

Cash Balance:$16 million at the end of Q2 2024.   June 30th...paid 2.1m debt, sept 17 over 13m cash...so far cash burn is 900k with the quarter not over...which is a 10% improvement...furthermore this was inherited debt from the VIVO acquisition, now it's cleared the sale process on hope and napanee facility can commence.

Wish we knew how much more than $13M the bank shows, in terms of burn, $13.1M vs $13.7M makes a difference.. also trying to keep in mind that ~$500K of cash came from non-recurring sources this year .. It feels like I'm nitpicking, I'm also doing this as high level math .. I am VERY long on MPL, my average is ~$0.12/ share and when/ if pharma hits, I see this as an easy 10x from my average ...more

I agree 100%. Fine margins here and every 100k matters.  My average is far higher but I still agree that a 10x is possible even from my average.  But I believe that if this ever gets to half a buck or beyond, its buyout chum at that point.   I'm not holding my breath waiting for positivity next Q unfortunately and there doesn't seem like anything positive is going to ...more

Well $0,11 before anything will be good, 10x is probably many years away, revenue will have to be well over $100 millions which we might reach in 3 years from now unless a big surprise which i would like to happen.

It's not material to the business in and of itself, but it shows confidence in future cash flow and hopefully a precursor for a more substantial announcement in the future.

Interesting but agreed not material.  They even spoke to this last Q call saying it was coming.  So good that that made good, but really if they top line growth is accompanying this type of stingy fiscal prudence then nobody will care.  Good thing is if burn is markedly reduced or stays about where it is, we have loads of time to grow.  Im just not a patient man however.

Now let's get the damn feds to reduce the excise tax. $1.00gram on a $3.00 /gm sale is bankrupting the legit players and returning the market to the illegal scum.
