I was thinking about this last night.  I own some LB and I bought when Ross Healy recommended it on BNN, in the low $30s, so granted I am still in the green here but I have not sold.    I am considering buying more.   I don't think this is just 'pure specualtion'.  The scarcity of the asset makes it desirable.   There will be bidders.  ...more

I like the line of reasoning here. "Scarcity of the asset" rings true for me. Canadian banks are few and chances to buy them far between. But if the major risk is a "non-sale", I don't see a disasterous outcome. Please correct me if I am missing something, but this isn't a small cap with no revenue and a risk of complete failure.
