Even is Stephen was on the golf course and heard that there were potential suitors for LB and a deal was sealed....he would have to be a fool to go on BNN and make it a top pick and draw attention to himself....if he knew a deal was in the works he would be smart enough to just keep his mouth shut and accumulate shares slowly on the price decline

He has no insight or insider tipping....he is just taking a risk like everyone else and hoping it works out

The extremes are highly unlikely. Reality is probably somewhere in the middle. Acting on inside information is a very bad idea. Gathering inside information and then going on TV to broadcast it would be an extraordinarily stupid move.  On the other had ... random guesswork in investing isn't illegal. But it's not smart either. It's not a way to build a career or track record ...more

Zero risk and these hedge fund guys act on insider information all the time.  You just don't know about it.   Google "Nancy Pelosi stock trades" to see how you get rich off of insider information.   Almost impossible to prosecute because no one will talk.  They like making $$$$$

Do you have a clue how completely impossible it is to prosecute insider trading?   You clearly do not.   I have used insider information many times before.  I also know it happens every day on Bay and Wall street.   Trust me, Takascy is taking zero risk here.  No one knows sqaut and those who do, are making buckets of $$$$$ and never say a peep.    ...more
