73% premium for takeover

45$ in BNS stock would a 73% premium over 26$ LB share price. Rumour from Globe and Mail quoted a 45$ takeover price last year. I'm satisfied to collect 7.5% dividend while waiting.

The metrics of the CWB deal, after adjusting for the impact of the most recent drop in the share price of NA, would provide for an offer equal to 53 $ per share for LB.
