In Oct. of 2023 Laurentian refused a takeover bid of 45$ because CEO didn't want to lose her job and be replaced by the takeover bank (unnamed according to Globe and Mail). One montn later she was fired. So.....45.50$ is fine with me.

Insider - post proof they turned down ANY offer at 45.50 or even less, please.

QUOTE : They said : We are holding are positions. In addition, insiders have bought in and none (zero) are selling. It's just a waiting game while collecting over 7% dividend.

Dang - he bought at over 39 bucks a share..... ouch. I have a lot of their preferreds that just reset. I am underwater the commons with a high twenties ACB. All good - just dripping away patiently. former CEO not in same league as Fraser at Citi. Good to clear her out and hit the reset button. Confident this will do just fine.
