What Am I Missing

I know this is a stock and the share price is in the eye of the beholder etc. What am I missing ? Every stock in it seems to be going up but the SP continues to drop. I have lots of it but want more. I'm afraid to buy because I'm afraid I'm missing something....Maybe a recession etc but I believe that banks and life companies are cash cows and will lead us out of the quagmire...

This stock has not gone down as much as the other splits. It maintaining it's value, I love it!!
