LCS UNIT NAV to Nov 11 = approx; $20.59

Spreadsheet showing a loss of 5 cents as the lifecos backed off end of the day.  Last trade @ $9.80 shows the discount as being 79 cents , as commons would be valued around $10.59. Works out to a discount of  7.4 %. Amazing there are some with bigger discounts out there. But none with smaller monetary payouts in the bunch i follow.

Not the most appealing IMHO... Others with as good a discount and safety or close and better payoouts! GLTA

I think the appeal is not only  safety.. only 7.5 cents monthly distribution.. and the capital gains in the past year are over 67%.. $5.43 per share a year ago, and now @ $9.11. I am under the impression that a special distribution may be paid out to Commons shares... and that might be driving the gains..

That would be good news for the holders, indeed! I still have a few shares to keep int on the radar and because it is still with a discount, but I am more invested in LFE, LBS, FTN, FFN and even DGS (for diversification and it seems to have magical powers to attract without a discount). I have also been adding BEPR for a gradual exposure to prefs... GLTA
