A POSSIBLE HYDROPOTHECARY & MEDRELEAF EXPANSION PLAN?

Is it possible Hydropothecary and MedReleaf could be working together on something big?

Yesterday Hydropothecary (THCX) announced a 100 million financing deal followed by a 130 million upsize. Today MedReleaf (LEAF) announced the same deal with the exact same upsize from the same brokers. Hydropothecary THCX said this is for expansion outside Quebec. Back at the Quebec commission last month, THCX mentioned they could include a partner outside Quebec in an MOU with Quebec to pursue a bigger deal. This was echoed in an interview yesterday on BNN Hydropothecary’s CEO Sbastien St. Louis. stated that they were looking to expand outside of Quebec and into the rest of Canada.

As of now nothing is official; but this would be a large coincidence if these deals didn’t end up being connected. We will stay on top of this story moving forward.
