Buying LEAF in the $24s is a very easy decision.  The same type of arbitrage happened on the CMED takeover and those of us who leveraged it did very well.

yes for sure the spread is very compelling and not sure anyone who wants to own ACB doesnt buy it through Leaf , very attractive discount ... The difference with CMED was that the transaction was hostile , In this case both boards have approved and 56% of Leaf shareholders have locked up the shares in favour of the deal .. Just waiting till August could be a Double from here ... IMO .. GLTA & ...more

The CMED merger turned friendly in January.  At that point they had both majority, board and insiders on side.
