Liberty Gold To Raise $30 Million Via Bought Deal At $1.10 P

Much like Elevation Gold, Liberty Gold appears to be desperate for cash, raising money at the first sign of bulls returning to the gold market. The company last night announced it would be conducting a large bought deal financing, before the firms equity even had much of a chance to react to the new bullish sentiment.

Correct in that they need cash at this time athough if you look historically, LGD has not come to the market in three years. They've been selling assets to cover the costs of drilling. That was their go-to method of raising cash over the past two years. Looks like they were not able to sell Goldstrike for a proper sum so they wish to prove up more ounces then sell. I don't think this is in any way like what Elevation Gold just did (unfortunately I still have a small position and after the raise and drop in price am down 80%). Elevation assuming warrants are exercised and one has to hope they will be just increased the share count by around 60% I estimate.  The mgt. has been completely opaque as to what is going on with the company. They are a none producing gold company.. gold could go to $1 million an ounce and they wouldn't benefit. This is a very low brow speculative investment. They raise money just to keep living and pay for executives lavish lifestyles in my opinion. This deal recent deal should of been done at 0.75 cents a unit with a warrant attached ,

Now that was one heck of a silly post. The deal should have been done at .75 with a warrant?  First, the CEO is one of the largest shareholders so effectively, he watered down his own holdings.  Second, this company had not done a raise in years. Has sold off properties to concentrate on their US properties. Indeed, this company will be sold at much higher prices. When and at what price ...more
