This is also great news, only related to LGO on the VRFB front but what's also interesting is that Sparton Resources has a 10% stake in VRB Energy that could be an interesting play moving forward ;-) GL2ALL

I was invested in Sparton up to a few years ago. I am surprised to see they are still operating. If memory serves they carried lots of debt and the sp never moved. We all know Robert Friedland. He gets the job done. He must have some really good Chinese connections, He is Canadian and has a home in Singapore. and I agree, this is all good for vanadium as it will obviously increase the demand. The great thing is that China has shown that they prefer VRFBs over lithium ,so they have really done their homework on which is the better battery..Also, I read somewhere that as long  as the vanadium price remains below $12 the VRFB can still compete. I don't believe we will ever again see 2018 V prices

I should add that it has been quite a while since I read about the VRFB being competitive with a vanadium price of up to $12. That completely goes out the window with the latest leasing model where the electrolyte is leased out for up to 20 years, and after that time the electrolyte can be recycled, and after replacing the pumps and a few other parts the battery will be as good as new for another

Exactly! I thought it was something between $8-12 as well We are missing Kha here, he's normally very precise on such things. Hope he's OK, he doesn't seem to be around as often as usual at the mo. SRI (or Vanspar) also had some V claims in China that they were looking at, but again lack of news.

Hi Clip, yeah, I've been in that sleeping giant, err donkey for years too (SRI). They are also still pending results on AU cores from drilling on their 'Sir Harry Oakes' plot end of last year but this could be a nice little ace up their sleeve. Yes, you are right, debt and little news...until this one... and of course free VRFB marketing for LGO ;-) Cheers mate.
