The problem
The problem is Largo didn't reach year end earnings estimates,
12 cents against 20 cents.

Why are you comparing US$ earnings per share actuals to CAD $ earnings per share estimates? If you compared actuals to estimates in the same currency then they would be very close each other.

Furthermore the analysts eranings per share estimates varied wildly between as low as minus 1 cents (CAD) to as high as 40 cents (CAD).

I found the amounts on your post, Actuals vs estimates. In another post I copied and pasted so you can see for yourself. Did I misunderstand?

Imho, this morning NR about the Ilemnite plant doesn't help. The market doesn't like announcements that are opaque which generate more questions than answers. Hope that they will clear everything up this afternoon.
