US$5,226,187 / 460,000 kg = ~US$5.15/lb

What is also interesting is what the other countries got per lb: South Africa got $4.35/lb Russia got $4.04/lb Brazil got $5.16/lb. What could account for this price disparity? Maybe the Chinese are building up stocks of the high purity V2O5 from Brazil for their plans to use the V for electrolyte. Who knows for sure.
