V prices are up and the sp is down? Are they not supposed to go in the same direction? Are smart-money investors unnerved by something else?

many of the miners and metals are correcting. the recent economic data in the US (payrolls, retails sales, etc) has been softer than expected.  most of the economic data is explainable and likely to reverse in the coming quarters significantly.  probably most importantly, the headline fiscal seems to be coming down - eg. less spending on 'infrastructure'.. in fact, try searching ...more

“LGO mgmt act like children and don't communicate effectively” can’t be the main reason behind the sp collapsing more than 25% after the company got the long awaited listing on Nasdaq. Largo has great potential but do the new smart-money investors trust the rookie CEO and his inexperienced lieutenants to lead the company into the future?  Paulo Misk’s first ever CEO job was when ...more

How they fail to even mention 2 million tonnes of iron ore in their latest presentation is beyond me. Thats a lot of money to leave out of a presentation. The stock probably lost 5 bucks recently solely due to the way they communicate. I sold some at 21.50 and still hold some Largo. My instincts was to sell it all at that price but i figured we wouldn't see below 20 dollars again. Oh well ...more

I didn’t sell any because, like you, I thought we wouldn't see below 20 dollars again considering the Nasdaq listing on top of Largo fundamentals. The fact that Arias will be present at the Battery Day webcast and that its format has been changed to allow interactive Q&A are very good signs. If Battery Day can not turn the sp around then I don’t know what can. Imagine the sp continues ...more

They have not even bothered putting an estimated value on the 2 million tonnes iron ore stockpile. Go figure.
Comment by kha341 on May 22, 2021 1:51pm
Hopefully they get this figured out quickly to maximize the value here? Don’t hold your breath. These rookies would rather do anything possible to evade questions and ban follow-up inquiries. Imho, because of the anti-transparency corporate culture and their lack of communication skills they view the Q&A session as a stressful burden instead of an opportunity to promote the company to the ...more

I think you might be right, the monologue contrived. Q&A  brings negative value. The Reason I ever took the time to call in was to listen to Cooperman hold their feet to the fire on statements they made. Naively, I really thought this was LGOs year.  I really thought we would see $30-40, they started climbing from the lows 6 months ago, I was pumped - I just can't believe we got ...more

Thank you for bringing the greater context of the overall commodity cycle into this board, allowing us to track other factors that affect the SP. Even though, only V price affect the bottom line of LGO, but the money flow is affected by the greater commodity market.
