2,500 Mwh = ~70% higher than previous expectation of 1,400 Mhw 

2,500 Mwh would require 24,725 tonnes of V assuming that ~9.89 tonnes of V are used per MWh of storage.


To date you only have 1 tiny contract of 6.1 Mwh signed 3 months ago. You better start signing more contacts asap! Give us a solid indication that you can deliver and the sp will skyrocket. Walk the talk!

I have been following this bullboard for a long time but this is the first time I have added a comment. I find the discussions very informative and to a much higher standard than other boards. In particular I appreciate the inputs from kha 341, and Clipper 2. Napier, Thanks Ian must be familiar with the battery deployment process. As stated in the Battery Day presentation (June 2021) Largo aims to deploy 40 Mwh by 2022 on its way to capture 3% (representing about 1,400 Mwh) of the long-duration energy storage battery market by 2025. We don't have much detail on how LCE are progressing on their their factory development schedule, but it does not appear to involve challenging new technical issues. They may have some supplier delivery problems affecting their ability to meet the schedule. So far they have not identified any problems meeting the requirements of their one existing contract, which suggests to me that they are ...more
