NewfNewf: “The risk/reward is looking pretty decent here now”.
Just to remind you that “value investors” do exist.
Value investors are investors who actively seek out stocks of viable companies that they think are trading for less than their book value because they are underestimated by the market. I do believe that Largo is a viable company with healthy long term fundamentals. Value investors can see the current sub-basement sp as a consequence of the market overreacting to bad news. Imho the steep decline in Largo’s value since Q1-23 results doesn't correspond to the company's long-term fundamentals thus the market overreaction is an opportunity to “buy low” at discounted prices now to “sell high” in the future.
Imho, short-sellers are actively taking advantage of the market overreaction to increase their short positions to 1,094,773 as at May 15 2023. Consequently more manipulation is to be expected thus making it difficult for the sp to go back to the C$8 range anytime soon.
