On a no-news day amid a TSX dayoff, US$LGO jumped ~14% with uncharacteristic high volume (= 7.3 x the average volume). It looks like, imho, “Buy the rumour” by smart money investors who are too eager to get off the sidelines.

This is what happens with firms that have high institutional ownership combined with low volume. Any big buys/sells on low volume makes prices more volatile up and down.
