Alcohol sales seem to do well in tough times.
Has anyone done any research to determine if there is a correlation between increasing unemployment and strong alcohol sales? a quick google search looks like it is a possibility. here's an interesting article from 2011 https://money.cnn.com/2011/06/08/news/companies/alcohol_sales/

I wonder how many are just new births however? or children under 18 who moved here with there familes. I bet we are more like only +35K in new possible customers. But still better then minus 35k.

The young population is a good sign for future customers, every year we have 1000's of teenagers who turn 18 within the province. Good internal population growth within the province.
