Alberta
It seems that people on this site are hung up on the Alberta connection to LIQ. While Alberta is their region for the Corporate office it is not the only market they are in. Prior to this board the management had gone into other regions to diversafy their exposure to local economies. With the present group they are just as likely to move the office to Toronto. It has happened when Bay Street took over other businesses based outside of Ontario. What will you look at then? The Ontario economy that has not been able to sustain itself.

Location of H.O. is not germane. Alberta is where the largest number of stores are located. And Ontario is booming. Today the IMF raised the Canadian growth forecast from 2.5% to 3%, much of it due to Ontario growth.
