Has anyone any info about what is gooing on at the mine sites?

Also when do the new convertible 6.25% debentures begin trading? It will be interesting to see the kind of premium given to the conversion privilege.

Any other news would be welcome/

The convertble debenture settlement date is Sept 7th,  I presume it will begin trading on that date. Each $1,000 debenture will be convertible into 714 common shares (or at $1.40 per share),  so I dont think there will be any premium. Indeed I wouldnt be surprised if the opening price is below $100 (i.e below $1000 per debenture).  After all, 714 common share currently trade at only

When you say the trade will start at 685/ this assumes there is no time premium.  Seems hyper pessemistic.
