Re. Vanchester....

Nope, my name was not there...still got all 30 million shares....I wish.  :-)

I think that our share price will not move a whole lot until such time that Lakeshore starts giving back to shareholdes some of the profits....Large dividend funds may also get in if that should happen.

Course Lakeshore could still drill into the mother load and even though they are no longer an exploration stock with the usual speculation hype from good drill holes the mother load would sure help...... they could still move the share price higher with better than expected hi-grade production...  IMO.

One way they could give back to the shareholder is to start buying back shares once they become cash flow positive. Many of us have seen the float increase from under 100 million to over 400 million shares. Our voice is 4 times less than it use to be many years ago. I'll keep watching for your name on the list along with Trash, et al.   v.

Vanchester ...I like your idea. It makes good scence. I don't know if Tony has the logic. To run the capital into the ground...perhaps it is some type of poisen pill to ward off suiters. The negatives in our blogs are not wrong ...just a little sharp edged. Perhaps it's the sites they have come from. Not many sites on the internet are as logical as this one. Our new commer has his opinion ...more

Comment by waltersobchak on Sep 06, 2012 5:40pm
Ok , short and simple .... you value mines on a Net Present Value of the total assets owned by the mine . 15 dolars will be worth at some point in the future , when the company has developed and produced all its assets owned on its books as of today . The variable that needs to remain constant is the price of gold , at these prices , the company with all its assets is worth $6BL at some ...more

That $15 is an estimate of the value for the near 6 million oz of gold in the ground. The mining cost to produce 1 oz is now near $700  Gold sells for near $1700 per oz That leaves $1000 available to spend on ??? resource reported is near 6,000,000 oz  ....multiply by the $1000 profit after production costs 6,000,000 oz times $1000 profit = $6,000,000,000 $6,000,000 ...more
