Possibly to scare the average blue collar investor into selling their shares, while big shots accumulate them at a low price before pumping up the price after a press release and then dumping them back into the market...? Wait no, that never happens...

The volume is colossal and I believe news is not going to be good. Only the Big Boys have such volume.
