short covering.

i should a known when that crook on bnn advised a caller not to touch LSG cause it was too risky in the 50's that these hedge funds had to cover their shorts. in the same breath,  he said they made a fortune on shorting gold stocks over last 2 yrs.  when they cover they just put a giant ask in front of the bids and peck away.  i see it happening now.

No wonder he wants us to stay away from this one.  He's shorting it and so the more people he gets to stay away from it, the further down the price will drop and the more he makes.  I don't really trust the opinon of someone who has a vested interest in wanting it to go down.
